Hi,
I've had a look at the openLS core services and couldn't find anything to find POIs along a route (from a route geometry and a buffer distance). When using the Route service, we can request the route geometry but if we want to find points along this route, we have to calculate a polygon around the route geometry instead of being able to use the route geometry out of the box?
Thanks, |

Alex -
From one of the OLS editors
"The original intention of the directory service was to find points within a known position and distance or within an uncertainty area. The SWG is currently working on revamping the Navigation extension to the core services to better provide POI along the route. It will be based on the work done at ISO 204. Input is welcome."
