Hi all,
I'm a system architect working on web based GIS solutions. I've been working with a number of non standard GIS products and trying to make the transition to the industry standards.
I currently use JSON for all communiction and really don't wan't to go back to xml (JSON is much better for representing object data, and padded JSON makes life so much easier).
I'm wondering if JSON is supported in anyway today or if there are plans to support it in future versions of the standard.
Am more than willing to contribute time to get this off the ground if it hasn't all ready got going.

Tom -
Are you talking JSON in total or just GeoJSON? GeoJSON was developed and is supported by quite a mix of OGC Members and non-Members.
